Leading you to discover your best potential in the field of Chinese folk music
Our Story
Welcome to Canada Y.C. Culture and Arts Training Center, we are a training institution affiliated with Canada Y.C. Music Academy. We are committed to inspiring the maximum potential of each student through more than 20 years of rich experience and a world-class coaching team, and to finding success and confidence with you.
Since its establishment, Y.C. Music Academy has been making history in the field of Chinese folk music education. Not only has it won top awards in prestigious competitions such as the Kiwanis Gala Showcase, but it has also become the first private institution in Canada to receive PTIB certification and focus on Chinese folk music, establishing our leading position in Canadian cultural education.
We not only provide course training, but also strive to provide students with comprehensive growth and development opportunities. For offline students, we provide opportunities to participate in public volunteer performances, so that students can exercise their public performance skills while participating in socially beneficial activities. For those students who are pursuing professional artistic level improvement, we especially recommend our two-year diploma program for Erhu and Guzheng. This program not only deeply and systematically cultivates professional skills, but also issues students with a diploma certificate certified by the Canadian Ministry of Education. It is an ideal choice for those who pursue professional achievements in music and art.
At the Canadian Y.C. Culture and Arts Training Center, we not only teach skills, but also strive to cultivate musicians with social responsibility and the ability to perform for the public. Join us to create more history, celebrate and pass on the beauty of China's musical heritage.

A glimpse of past performances
Canada Y.C. Culture and Arts Training Center, together with Canada Y.C. Music Academy (YCA) and Canada Y.C. Chinese Folk Music Orchestra, has participated in and hosted many folk music competitions, large-scale independent concerts and diploma students’ graduation concerts over the years. Adhering to the concept of inheriting the rich heritage of Chinese folk music and integrating it into the brilliant treasure house of Canada’s multicultural culture, it creates a unique and professional music experience for students.
